ONE MILE FAMILY FUN RUN!
RACE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 7, 2017 @ 9:45AM!!
The 5TH Annual Great Pumpkin Run is coming to Nags Head Elementary Saturday, October 7! This event is proudly sponsored by OBX GO FAR and will help kick off the Nags Head Elementary Fall Festival to begin at 9:45AM. You can run, jog or walk this one of a kind 1 mile fun run! This is not a timed event; it is a family fun event for moms, dads, grandparents, sisters and brothers. Come celebrate the beautiful fall weather with us at NHES and support the Nags Head PTO at the same time! One race, one great post-race festival and one day full of fun for the entire family! ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE NAGS HEAD ELEMENTARY PTO!!
REGISTRATION: Registration is NOW open! Deadline to register is OCTOBER 4TH! After October 4th we will only accept on-site/day of the event registrations so do not wait! Registration prior to the event will be $10!The price increases to $15 day of the event!

RACE DAY INFO: The race start and finish will be held in front of Nags Head Elementary School. Just look for the big start arch! Please come to the registration table, located at the front of NHES by 9:30AM to check in and get your race bib/number. Race start time is 9:45AM
RACE COURSE: Start and Finish is at the front of the school! You will turn right on to Wrightsville, right on Memorial Ave, right on Curlew, right on to Linda Lane, right on to East Bark and a final left back to NHES! This is a loop course and we will have course marshals or Nags Head PD at every intersection.
PARKING: You can park in the Nags Head Elementary School parking lot but come before 9:30AM or the parking lot may be full!
The first 100 registered participants will receive an awesome pumpkin finisher medal and of course water for all at the finish line. And once you have conquered the Great Pumpkin Run make sure you visit the NHES Pumpkin Patch and carnival activities taking place at NHES!
Additional Important Info: This event will take place rain or shine! Lightening or thunder…we will cance! Sorry, but no refunds allowed! And of course since it is a fall festival and a Great Pumpkin Run, costumes are certainly welcome!
